COVID SafetySteps we've implemented to ensure everyone stays safe
A risk assessment has been carried out to ensure that we are operating safely during this time. This can be viewed by customers if requested.
In accordance with the latest government guidelines (24th September 2020) we are now legally obliged to close the restaurant at 10pm. As a result, our final booking time will be 8.30pm until further notice. For earlier sittings, we politely request that you vacate your table after no later than 1 hour 45 minutes so that we can seat later reservations accordingly.
In accordance with the latest government guidelines (24th September 2020) customers visiting restaurants are required to wear face coverings at all times unless they are seated at their table. All members of waiting staff will wear face coverings whilst working.
In accordance with government guidelines, we are unable to accept reservations for groups of six or more. Please note we cannot allow groups over six to be split over separate tables.
Maintaining 2 metres distance between staff and customers or 1 meter distance when 2 meters is not possible.
In order to limit close contact between staff and customers we will not be offering our tasting menu during this time and will be offering a limited (yet varied) menu.
Hand sanitiser is available for customers to use at the restaurant entrance and we ask that all customers sanitise their hands before entry. Staff also have hand sanitiser available which they are encouraged to use regularly. Hand soap and towels are available in the toilets for customer use.
The restaurant will be ventilated throughout the day with windows and doors open.
We have a cleaning schedule in place whereby all points of contact (door handles, card machines, menus) are cleaned using an anti-bacterial sanitiser regularly. Tables and chair backs are also sanitised after each use.
Details for Track & Trace
We require two forms of contact for each booking (preferably mobile & email address). For those booking in advance, we will obtain these from you at the time of booking. For those walking in, if we can accommodate you, you will need to provide these details for us before you leave. Details are stored on a secure reservation system and we will not use them other than to provide to the NHS if requested.
There is also a QR code displayed at our entrance for customers to scan and 'check in' to the premises for NHS Track & Trace.
During this time of uncertainty, dining out will be a little different than usual, however we appreciate your perseverance and cooperation.
If you are feeling unwell, or have symptoms of COVID-19, please stay at home.
